Information you give us through this website

This website has no accounts or logins and does not ask you to register. The contact form on our home page does not send anything through this website: when you press Send Message, it opens your own email app with your message filled in, and you decide whether to send it. When you email or call us, we use what you share only to reply to you and to provide the service you ask about. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing.

Please do not send sensitive information by email. Do not include your Social Security number, ITIN, date of birth, bank or card numbers, or pictures of tax documents. Email is not a secure channel. If we need those details, we will ask you to bring them to our office.

Information you give us in our office

When you come to us for tax preparation, accounting, real estate, notary, translation or money transfer services, we collect the information we need to perform that service. Depending on the service, this can include your name, address, Social Security number or ITIN, date of birth, filing status, income information, and the same details for your spouse and dependents.

We keep this information only as long as we are required to, we protect it, and we do not sell it or share it with unaffiliated third parties except as needed to provide your service (for example, filing your return with the IRS and New York State) or as required by law.

If you are a tax preparation client, federal law (Internal Revenue Code section 7216) also protects your tax return information. We will not use or disclose it for any purpose other than preparing your return without your written consent.

What this website collects automatically

Hosting. This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to deliver pages to you and protect the site, such as your IP address and browser type. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use this website, for example which pages are visited and what kind of device is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives information such as your approximate location and browsing activity on this site. We do not use it for advertising and we do not use it to identify you. You can learn how Google uses this information and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

This website does not run advertising, and it does not use social media tracking pixels.

Links to other websites

We link to the IRS, the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, Google Maps and our Facebook page for your convenience. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else's website and their privacy policy applies, not this one.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Some tax records must be kept for a period required by law. Contact us using the details above.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
